Kalimoni Mission Hospital, a Catholic sponsored institution under the Archdiocese of Nairobi was started as a dispensary in 1934 by the sisters of the precious blood, to meet the basic health needs(mainly outpatient) of the people of juja and its environs.
In the year 2000, the dispensary was handed over to the sisters of the Congregation of the handmaids of the holy Child Jesus to manage.
The Facility is licensed under the medical practitioner and Dentists Act Cap 253 to operate as a Hospital.
It also attends to patients under the following covers:

Supporting Our Community: St. Anthony Support Group Monthly Distribution
Founded in 2015, the St. Anthony Support Group is a core outreach initiative by Kalimoni Mission Hospital designed to offer vital psychosocial support, fellowship, and practical assistance to local senior citizens and community members in need.
Every second Friday of the month, group members gather on the hospital grounds for counseling, peer support, and wellness check-ins. To help ease daily living burdens, Kalimoni Mission Hospital directly purchases and prepares essential care packages for each monthly meeting.
During this monthly gathering, members assembled in the hospital courtyard to receive household supplies, including flour, cooking oil, and tissue paper. We are proud to continue this 11-year tradition of standing with our elders and most vulnerable neighbors.
